Adaptive Acoustical Control
The Adaptive Acoustical Control is our engineered solution platform for room acoustics and acoustical materials development. We start with a matrix of psychoacoustic research data. We then conceptually look at every room in respect to architectural form, layout and the materials involved. This means every hard and soft material can be used to accomplish a specific task. Each material will reflect sound at a given sound pressure level, frequency response, and power response. Depending on the room volume, an appropriate range of transfer functions is established. We then look at the goals involved for the room and design a solution that works best. What makes this unique is our engineering of materials that meets the acoustical goals. We are confident that we can take any material and give it an acoustical transfer function that is appropriate for a specific room.
How we do this is by contouring materials or a full room design as if it has a transfer function. Just like in electronics the devil is in the details. The first objective is to use all acoustical and mechanical mechanisms possible to achieve absorption, diffusion, and reflection efficiently. In addition, auto-correlation and error correction methodologies are employed.
